SELECT NEWS FOR THE DAY::
We still aren’t sure of the results of the Afghani elections. Both Abdullah Abdullah and Harmid Karzai are claiming victory with only 30 of the 34 Afghan provinces having finished their ballot count. A couple things we are sure of: At least 2 women had their fingers chopped off as punishment for voting, 26 people died on election day due to random attacks of violence and loads of others were injured.
Favorite customers …
To the freshman girl that calls for delivery- “Like Oh my god, yes, you can like, totally get 3 cheesy bread for 8 dollars and like yea, like we can totally deliver to the Virginia Tech campus.” Just know which dorm you’re in genius. There is no such thing as dorm 2336; there is such a thing as Pritchard dorm which is what you meant.
No, you can not get free food just because you’re cute-
you can not get free food just because your brother used to work at Domino’s
you can not get free food just because you “know the owner” … do you really or are you just saying that? Tell me about his family then.
To the fat person, using the drive-thru ordering 3 cheesy bread and a diet coke: First of all you are too lazy to get out of your car and walk 10 feet to come inside, yet you get a diet coke because you are so worried about your weight and health. You are eating Pizza!! There’s not a whole lot of ways to make that healthy in the first place so just get a regular damn drink like you really want anyway. It’s not like getting diet hides the fact that you are overweight and lazy.
To The Dublin guy—you know who you are … I haven’t heard from you since I switched companies so I guess that means you must really love Papa John’s but you know to this day you are still one of my least favorite people. If we did not deliver Pizza to you yesterday what makes you think I’ll do it today? Nope, not gonna happen tomorrow either. So please quit wasting my time asking me the same question day-in and day-out.
Ahh the school year returns
It only returns for everyone but me though!! This is my first semester in … 18 years I haven’t had to go to class. It’s really odd sort of feeling that I’m not sure I’m that comfortable with.
Although, I won’t be bored, I just recently started working at the Domino’s Pizza in Blacksburg, VA and it rolls. I mean it rolls through hundreds of pizzas a day, during the summer when there are no students in town. Now that it’s coming to late August business is about to double (at least) as the 30,000 or so students roll back in to town.
Radford starts in 2 weeks, just 1 week after Tech. So my hometown will have a nice jumpstart to it’s economy coming soon too.
I would just like to extend a huge thank you to the parents and supporting family members of the students at Virginia Tech and Radford. Without your children’s excessive spending, my bank account would remain empty all year, rather than just the 3 months during the summer.
